1. What is an E.S.E pod?

podAn Easy Serving Espresso Pod, or E.S.E. pod, is a small coffee ground disk (Coffee pod) packed in a paper filter.

Each pod contains exact 7 grams of coffee ground compressed into a paper filter package. Pods are typically 44-45mm size for E.S.E. certified machines.

Note that ESE pods are smaller and more compact than those used in Senseo single-serve coffee brewers. Senseo coffee pods are also larger in diameter and the coffee ground is loose in the paper filter.

Premium espresso pods are comparable to the average cup of hand-crafted espresso. Current pod technology produces a high volume of crema ( the foam created at the top of the cup ) and a taste that many consumers find comparable with what is available in current espresso bars. This assessment may be in part due to the lesser frequency of proper barista training by many coffee vendors.

Main advantages of pods are : convenience, speed of preparation, easy cleaning, freshness, consistency of taste, less waste of coffee grounds and 100% biodegradable.

3. Where is your store located and where can I view your products?

We are an online store but we do demos for business clients if requested and we do hold stock of the products on display. Our products are shipped directly from our warehouse here in Cape Town. We source the latest products, negotiate the best prices, handle the payments and oversee the safe delivery of the items ordered to your door. We check stock availability on a daily basis and will not intentionally display a product that is out of stock.

4. What are the delivery times on items purchased?

Your order will be most of the time dispatched on the same day or the next business day .You will normally be notified of any delays on items ordered or you can contact us and we'll supply you with the status of your delivery. Peak shopping / gift periods (Easter, Christmas, etc) may require a few additional days for delivery.

5. How do I place an order for EFT or “cash deposit” payment?

Add the items you want to buy to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout by selecting PayFast.You will be transfered to the PayFast page to create an account.This is a secure transaction from your bank account to our account. Once you've confirmed your order, you will be presented with (and emailed) a purchase order .You will receive an order confirmation once payment has been received.

6. Can I cancel my transactions once they've been processed?

In most situations your order may be cancelled, as long as it's within a few hours of the transaction. You will receive a full refund less the transaction charges.

7. What if I don't like what I ordered?

Unfortunately refunds or returns are not offered on items that aren't damaged.  If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us and we'll try our best to compensate you. This will also assist us in evaluating our suppliers and avoiding future issues.

8. What if my items are damaged?

We spare no expense in getting your items to you safely but in the rare event of an item arriving damaged, we will supply you with a replacement, alternative item or a refund. Items damaged by you will not qualify for refund or replacement.

9. What are the shipping and delivery costs?

All prices include packaging and Vat. All orders over R480 are shipped free of charge. Orders smaller than 100 x ESE pods will be charged at R58
