Mixture of Arabica coffee from South America, Asia and a tiny percentage from Central Africa. Probably no Arabica on its own can give the same results. Medium body, sweet flavour, very pleasant aroma which sometimes can recall notes of freshly-baked bread. When it has just been ground the scent is intoxicating.

Gian Luca Venturelli Italian Coffee Roasting Company was founded in 1996 on the shores of Lake Garda (at Padenghe sul Garda), thanks to the passion and enterprise of Gian Luca Venturelli. The company grew rapidly, first at its facility in Roncadelle (Brescia) where, besides the equipment for roasting and grinding the coffee, innovative plant was installed for packaging the pods in paper, allowing the company to specialize in a way that would later prove to be a winner.

We have chosen paper for our pods. Paper pods are totally biodegradable, unlike plastic capsules which unfortunately are spreading as an alternative standard. Paper pods enable us to produce healthier coffee. Filter paper is particularly effective in reducing the presence of grounds and other coffee residues such as waxes and oils. It is also used in pharmaceutical applications because it traps waterborne bacteria and reduces impurities. And the coffee, besides being more eco-friendly, is also healthier and more digestible.
